Haigh Woodland Park - Wigan

We’re huge fans of Haigh Woodland Park. There’s an abundance of activities for all age groups and the park itself is a beautiful place to visit. There’s adventure golf, a huge playground, golf courses, footgolf, miniature golf and the awesome high ropes aerial adventure. Three Sisters Circuit - Wigan
Location: Three Sisters Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan WN4 8DD
If you have a budding Lewis Hamilton in your family then the Three Sisters Circuit is a thrilling day out. For everyone 8 years and above, Three Sisters offers training and racing on Honda Karts on circuits designed for different age groups and experience levels. Wigan Youth Zone - Wigan

Wigan Youth Zone offers children across Wigan the chance to have new experiences, learn new skills and make friends. It’s open to all children across Wigan aged between 8 and 21 years old. It’s like a very modern day youth club, but one that mum and dad could only wish they’d had back in the day. The centre has floodlit football pitches, climbing wall and rooms for music and art. Membership is just £5 per year and 50p per visit, it’s a fantastic venue that kids just love.
Hollywood Bowl - Wigan

Fairy Glen - Wigan
Location: Hall Lane, Appley Bridge, Wigan WN6 9EQ
Enjoy a walk and picnic surrounded by the beautiful surroundings of Fairy Glen. The route follows the small but tranquil Sprodley Brook through what feels like a magical valley with little waterfalls and cliffs. The stunning woodland canopy and seasonal flowers make this a fantastic family day out at anytime of the year. You can bring the four legged family member too.
The walk itself takes approximately 1 hour and the terrain is along well kept paths. It can be a little bumpy in places with a few steps so may not be suitable for wheelchair users. Entry is £1 per person and parking is nearby is on nearby Hall Lane.
