Description

Discover the brilliant BBC Interactive Tour at MediaCityUK Salford. From Blue Peter and Newsround to presenting the weather and seeing what goes on behind the scenes. The Interactive Tour is a perfect day out for kids aged 6 years+

See how your favourite BBC TV and radio shows are filmed and recorded, like the BBC breakfast show with the red sofa, BBC Radio 6, The Voice, Horrible Histories or the Match of the Day studio. There’s also the secrets behind TV, like sound effects, why it’s called a green room and the eerie anechoic room. Then it’s lights, camera, action as you get the chance to be hands on and present the CBBC weather or news whilst trying to master the autocue.

An additional highlight that’s FREE for anyone visiting is the famous Blue Peter Garden.
