Blue Planet Aquarium is a must for kids of all ages. Exploring the world beneath the waves has never been so much fun. From the fish and creatures found in our own rivers and streams to fish, octopus and sharks from more tropical seas, the exciting underwater exhibitions that Blue Planet Aquarium will have kids and adults amazed.
One of the highlights of any visit is the Shark tunnel which really puts you in the thick of the underwater action. Plus there’s discoveries above the water too, with Caiman Crocodiles, Frog Zone, Venomous Spiders and Pelican Cove all packed with new discoveries.
One thing not to be missed is the Aquatheatre, a huge viewing window into the underwater world. Three live shows are on throughout the day starting at 11:30am with divers swimming throughout a Caribbean Reef, 1,500 fish and Europe’s largest collection of Sharks, including the awesome Sand Tiger Sharks. With their 250 needle like teeth and huge 3.2m length, they’re truly the star of the show.
Then, if you’ve not already had enough excitement for one day out, the little ones can play in the Pirate Playground whilst you sit back and relax. There’s also food and drink available in the Nautilus Kitchen Restaurant.
